Identify A NIC PortΒΆ
If you ever need to, you can have a specific port of a physical NIC on the router blink to visually identify it.
To do that, run the following command:
vsr> cmd identify-port pci-b131s0f1 duration 300
Where pci-b131s0
is the network-port
you want to identify.
The command can be interrupted before the specified duration (in seconds) by
hitting ctrl-c
.
Note
If you see the following error message:
Cannot identify NIC: Operation not supported
It means that your network adapter does not support LED control.
Tip
To display the list of all network-port
s and their description, you may
use the following command:
vsr> show state / network-port
