Displaying network connections

The show system connections command displays running IPv4, IPv6 and UNIX network connections.

router{}show system connections [ipv4|ipv6|sctp|unix]
ipv4
Display IPv4 connections only.
ipv6
Display IPv6 connections only.
sctp
Display SCTP connections only.
unix
Display UNIX connections (sockets) only.

Without any argument, all IPv4, IPv6 and UNIX connections are displayed.

Displaying network statistics

The show system statistics command displays statistics related to over-IP protocols.

router{}show system statistics [PROTO] [non-zero]
PROTO
Displays statistics for the specified protocol only. PROTO can be chosen among: ipv4, ipv6, icmpv4, icmpv6, igmp, tcpv4, tcpv6, udpv4, udpv6, ipsecv4, ipsecv6, sctp, and if available (Turbo Router SDS only), fast-path to display the counters managed by the Fast Path. If not specified, statistics are displayed for all protocols.
non-zero
Displays only non null statistics.

Displaying system virtual memory

The show system virtual memory command displays statistics about virtual memory usage on Turbo Router.

Displaying running processes

The show system processes command displays information about the processes running on the system. By default, this command displays the list of running processes, with their ID, controlling terminal, state of the process, CPU time used by the process so far and command line.

Detailed information can be displayed using one of the optional LEVEL parameters: brief, detail, extensive and summary.

To display the running processes:

router{}show system processes [brief|detail|extensive|summary]
brief
System summary information, as well as the list of non-idle tasks.
extensive
Same as brief, refreshed every second. Exit with <Ctrl+C>.
detail
List of processes, with user ID, process ID, parent process ID, CPU use of the process, ratio of the process’s resident set size to the physical memory on the machine, priority of the process, process scheduling increment, real memory (resident set) size of the process in kilobytes, the address of an event for which the process is running if any, starting time of the process, CPU time used by the process so far, command line (see ps man page for more information).
summary
System summary information, as well as the list of tasks, with task’s process ID, user ID, priority, scheduling increment, total amount of virtual memory, resident size, amount of shared memory, status, CPU usage, memory usage, CPU time, command line (see top man page for more information).
