The following diagram depicts a fairly common use case where a broadband network gateway router connects PPPoE/IPoE end users and provides connectivity to the Internet via an upstream Transit Service Providers. IP addresses have been included for demo purposes only. You may use your own IP Planning to test.

The outside network connectivity via eBGP provides service availability using different ASes. The inside network connectivity is established using static routes with a combination of NAT that helps translating the private IP addresses into another private or public IP address. In the described use case and for illustration purposes, we will be using NAT and static routing to ensure proper reachability between clients side and internet routers.
